Family Life
His ancestory was involved of both Danish and Polish parents who were the first generation to be born in the United States of America. Marion Elaine Robinson (May 4, 1908 – December 14, 1989), a homemaker, and John Stanley Gacy (June 20, 1900 – December 25, 1969), an auto repair machinist and World War I veteran. Gacy was the only son of 3 children.
The father was a drunk who would beat Gacy and his mother with his hands, leather belt, or a razor strap if they did anything wrong in his eyes. As this went on Gacy's sister Karen stated that she would watch and see that Gacy would not cry when he was receiving the beatings. On top of this all, Gacy had a heart condition which would not allow him to play with other children when he was at school and his father also saw this as another flaw towards him.
